Footsteps

This is a self-indulgent piece which give an insight into my life and thoughts.

Once I allow myself to lollop words on my tongue and drift of into a reverie, anything can happen.

My defence for this one is that I believe that I am not alone in this business.

Bertram de Verve

This is story about Bertie the Greyhound who was rescued and came to live next door, at No 6.

Bertie has large black searching eyes that look straight into your soul.

He took charge of my tiny mind, quite easily, to make sure he got his message across to you, Dear Readers.

This is what he made me write, verbatim. Honest.

I have put it in Miscellany.

Luv, Luv me dooo

This is a tale of daftness. It is filed in ‘Miscellany’.

We bought a plant as a gift for our friends Jim and Sheila.

It was a Golden Ball Cactus, which we named “Ertika”.

This tiny tale tells of Ertika’s early life, before being homed by Jim and Sheila.
